Internships




Requirements
Must be currently enrolled in Aerospace, Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or any CNC Programming, CNC Machining or Skills trade program related to machining.
Students must be available full time (minimum of 40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks in the summer.
Ready to work in a variety of work environments including the shop floor, quality lab and office settings.
Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Is the internship paid? Yes, interns are compensated at a competitive hourly rate for their full-time work.
Is the position on-site or remote? All internships are on-site at one of our three locations in Troy, MI.
Does Triple offer internships other than during the summer? Yes, Triple is flexible in offering internships any time during the year.
Can I work around a class that I scheduled? Yes, Triple offers a flexible work schedule to work around school schedules. The outside commitments need to be communicated and a regular schedule will need to be established.
What do you look for on a resume to be considered for an internship?
Clear & concise, easy to read format (be sure to spellcheck).
CAD/CAM and machining knowledge.
Extracurricular activities (even if not engineering related – clubs, labs, work experience, etc.).
Leadership, GD&T, or previous internship experience is always a plus.
Interests & hobbies outside of college classes (we want to get to know you!).
